The team behind ESL One Manila 2016

The Mineski Events Team (MET), beginning as a small-scale event organizing body in Manila, has today established itself as the premier esports event organizer in the Southeast Asian region. After strengthening its local presence in the Philippines by handling numerous successful tournaments, the group has successfully expanded overseas, establishing bases in Malaysia and Thailand.

On top of the Mineski Pro-Gaming League which it hosts annually, some of the MET's biggest projects include ESL One Manila 2015, Malaysia Cyber Games 2015, Hearthstone Major: Singapore, the MPGL VII SEA Championship held in the Selangor Cyber Games, and the 2016 ASUS ROG Masters.

Over a million readers every month is the Philippines' premier esports network, delivering topnotch gaming content for the most dedicated gaming enthusiasts since 2008. We believe that promoting esports in the country begins with a solid community of informed and passionate players.

What started out as a small website for fans to catch up on local news and a hub for the MET to announce its events quickly grew to become one of the major sources of news for Southeast Asian esports.

Founded in 2004, Mineski was first a professional gaming team that has consistently excelled both in the Philippines where it was established, and in the greater SEA region through both LAN and online competitions. Having fielded teams in various competitive titles, the brand has enjoyed elite status in esports for over a decade now. At the moment, the team runs three divisions: Dota 2, League of Legends, and CS:GO.
